Ron Newton Augusta Branch Manager
Ron Newton is a native of Augusta, GA. He is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, where he obtained a bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy.
After providing excellent care to acutely ill patients at the bedside, Ron's passion for affecting overall healthcare, not just direct care, led him to obtain a masters degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan's executive program. After graduating at the top of his class, Ron left his then position as the Manager of Cardiopulmonary Services for Georgia Correctional Healthcare to join the team of PSA Healthcare. At PSA, Ron was able to maximize his healthcare knowledge with some extra effort to shine as he administered private duty nursing care to medically fragile children. While at PSA, Ron lead a team of administration professionals as well as over sixty Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses. In his first year at PSA, Ron grew his location by 100%, while also increasing revenue and achieving an all-time company high for his recruitment and retention of staff.
Ron grew up addicted to the outdoors, spending entire summers on the lake fishing, boating, skiing, and swimming. Still loving the water, Ron currently serves as boat captain for his daughter's high school bass fishing team at Greenbrier High in Evans, GA. Ron is married to his high school sweetheart of 20 years, and has three children; Morgan, Grant, and John Robert.
